Assaf Bibi's Shir Mizmor leAssaf is the first clarinet method written especially for the religious community. Based entirely on traditional and new Chassidic music, special attention has been paid to make this the book of choice for the religious teacher and student. The pictures included are modest, and many of the lessons are enriched with rabbinical teachings about music. The book opens with an introduction about music in Jewish tradition.
The second volume introduces the student to klezmer, and includes medleys of klezmer and wedding music, and accompaniments on a playback disc.
