Shlomo Gronich is one of the foremost musicians in Israel. He is a multi-disciplinary composer, pianist and performer who combines classical music, rock, pop, jazz and world music. He also composes for theater, films, and dance. Gronich has greatly influenced the development of an original Israeli musical style, which combines traditional Western and world music. Among the numerous awards he has received is the ACUM Prize for his contribution to musical life in Israel. His first album was released in 1971, followed by more than 20 additional albums.
